Roses and Cigarettes - Gypsy Woman

Roses & Cigarettes was created in 2013 by Jenny Pagliaro and Angela Petrilli in the heart of Los Angeles. With so many different styles and influences of music surrounding them, they have strived to play a wide variety, stretching from country to rock, folk to Americana as well as both current covers and original songs. They released their self-titled debut album in May 2015.

Jenny, originally from New England, was born to an actress and a musician. So, at a young age she was exposed to many creative influences and started performing and hasn’t stopped. She is known for her appearance in “Housesitter” with Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn and in 2003 she participated in “Cape Idol” on 96.3.  When she turned twenty, Jenny moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career in music.

Angela, a native to Los Angeles, always had an interest in music. After watching her mother play the guitar, she was  enamored by the thought of playing music. At nine, she picked up the guitar and has been playing ever since. Soon after she started taking lessons from Jimmy Scott and at the age of sixteen she started to play shows in the South Bay’s local bar scene. Her influences include Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
