Terri Dittmar plays bass, sings and writes lyrics in March and Beauty.
She is originally from Stephenville, TX and moved to Austin, TX in the
early ‘90s to finish her degree at the University of Texas. Her
professional music career began at Cedar Creek Recording studio where
started singing backups on various Austin artists' records. In the late
‘90s she began writing songs with husband, Tim Dittmar, under the name
annabella. Terri has also provided lead vocals, backup vocals, and piano
with bands such as dead waiter, Kristi Rae, The Hearts and The Minds,
Everything's Gone Green, Beckham Brothers, Starry Eyed, and most
recently Dancer in the Sun.
Tim Dittmar is a drummer, a songwriter, engineer, producer, writer, radio host, and audio engineering professor. Tim moved to Austin from Corpus Christi,TX to play original music and work in a recording studio. He started his engineering ca- reer at Cedar Creek Recording studio and since then has recorded well over 500 bands. His band, bo bud greene, was signed to a few indie labels and a couple major labels and he recorded and toured extensively with them for a decade. Af- ter bbg, he started writing and performing songs with his wife as annabella. Be- sides annabella the couple has played together in Starry Eyed, Everything's Gone Green, and The Hearts and The Minds. When not drumming for March and Beauty and annabella he continues to record bands at his all analog studio called las olas recordings and host his Cygnus radio program Indie Go Round.
Sean Mullens, anti guitar hero, is originally from El Paso Texas. Sean played in several alternative bands before moving to Austin to form bo bud greene. Following bbg he per- formed and recorded with Davíd Garza and Johnny Goudie. His emphasis in guitar playing is for the instrument to lose it’s traditional role and sound like more than a single guitar.
Paul Stautinger is a multi-instrumentalist and recording engineer originally from Spring TX. His focus now is on guitar, but he came to Austin as a drummer play- ing in experimental and indie bands such as Desafinado, Sweet Pea, and Rattle- down. Around the same time, he established a recording studio out of his home and eventually landed at Sweatbox Recording where he recorded and produced countless bands from the Austin underground music scene. Paul also studied trombone at the University of Texas and taught music in local public schools, so he’s now afraid of children.

Recorded at OHM Recording Facility with Chico Jones, Summer Said EP moves from folky dream pop to darker shoegaze and explores the importance of being young at heart. March and Beauty takes pride in that they don’t use any synthesizers. Every ambient drone, weird crash, and beautiful swell are done live with guitars using analog effects!
